wat bent U toch een wonderlijk iets.

U hebt mij vele droevige, vele traanige, vele vrolijke

en menig gelukkig moment in mijn leven.

Ik mocht lijden, ik mocht hopen, ik mocht vrezen.

Ik mocht zoeken, ik mocht vinden.

Ik mocht lachen en ik mocht huilen. Ik mocht zoeken;

Ik mocht vinden en ik mocht me vergissen.

Ik zag het donker en ik zag het licht, UW licht.

Ik voelde me eenzaam en ik voelde me veilig.

Ik was dwaas en ik was serieus.

Vandaag besef ik, NU, HOE rijkelijk U mij geschenken geeft.

En mij altijd gegeven hebt.

U laat mij een gelukkig mens worden omdat ik U mag zoeken

en omdat ik mag verdwalen op zoek naar U.

Ik hou van U.
