och många lyckliga stunder i mitt liv.

Jag fick lov att lida, jag fick lov att hoppas och jag fick lov att frukta.

Jag fick lov att söka, jag fick lov att hitta.

Jag fick skratta och jag fick gråta. Jag fick söka;

Jag såg mörkret och jag såg ljuset, DITT ljus.

Jag kände mig ensam och jag kände mig trygg.

Jag var fånig och jag var allvarlig.

Idag inser jag, NU, HUR rikligt Du ger mig gåvor.

Och alltid har gett mig.

Du låter mig bli en lycklig människa eftersom jag får lov att leta efter Dig.

och för att jag tillåts gå vilse i sökandet efter Dig.
